About Us
Who We Are
A United Methodist Church that was born out of the Anglican Church (the Church of England) in the 1700s when John and Charles Wesley, Anglican priests, decided that Jesus lived the life he taught his disciples to live and that they would live the same way. Loving their neighbor as they loved themselves, feeding the hungry, visiting the prisoners, healing the sick, teaching and preaching the ways of living the abundant life that Christ provides us to live when we commit to following his ways.
We believe that salvation is a lifelong process with God's grace working through the power of the Holy Spirit within us to mold and shape us into perfection--being perfected in Christ--becoming the whole, complete person God created us to become. We are not perfect people doing everything right, and we are working out our salvation daily through God's love and forgiveness helping us to live more like Jesus each day.
